So I've been approved for PR and got my COPR documents, just waiting for my PR card. It's been about 54 days since I landed and got PR. However due to a family sickness I want to quit my job and travel home for a bit to take care of a family member. I want to give one months notice so my plan is to quit now and then hopefully my PR card will arrive sometime in the following month, otherwise I may have to wait longer. Are there any complications with this plan? Should I do it or just wait till I get my PR card?

This is ok, just ensure that there is some one to collect the PR card at the given address
