if your wp still valid even though you quit or you loss your job, you can still stay in canada until it expire, in that case you should find a new employer that can apply you an LMO as soon as possible so you can apply for your new wp before your current wp expired! Pass your application in vegreville, you dont have to go back to your home country to re apply again for new employer and get a VISA, you already in canada so its easy to apply for a new job! possessing a current and valid wp if you wish to leave then upon returning or re-entry these are the situations i know how it will be:
1. if you belong to a country who does not need a trv re-entry will not be an issue.
2. if you belong to a country that requires a trv and the issued trv is still in effect likewise you can come come back possesing said trv as your re-entry visa.
3. if you belong to a country that requires a trv and the issued trv is already expired you have to apply a counter foil visa or re-entry visa. one of the requirements are letter from your current employer (specified in your valid wp) stating that you are allowed to leave and likewise agrees will still work for them or they will still take you as their employee upon your return.
