Quit job before landing. SK PNP

Hi everyone.

I'm waiting for PR after applying under SK PNP category with job offer. I'm currently working for the employer that has provided me with a job offer.

But what if by the time I go to the border for landing (with Immigrant visa) I loose the job that I was nominated for? Are immigration officers at the point of entry will be interested in whether I still have that job? Or I can just prove that I have funds?

They will ask you if you're still working under the same employer who supported you with job offer.

OK, but would that prevent me from landing if I say "no"? Supposedly I would have Immigrant visa stamped in my passport by then.

CBSA will know whether you're telling the truth or not in their system and also your employer will have to tell SINP that they laid you off and SINP might come after you of why you didn't tell them that you lost your job.

But there are some cases where CBSA won't know if you told a lie about your job so it depends.....
