Hi,

I've just applied for my LMIA based work permit and completed my 1yr PGWP with IT industry, my wife is still in India. I want to bring her here as soon as possible. I've also prepared my PR application but draws are currently stopped.

Please help me with the fastest way to bring my wife here.

Thank you

SOWP is probably best assuming you have a NOC A, B or 0 job that you are working in right now.

If you are not working in a NOC A, B or 0 job right now, then TRV is the only option.

No - you cannot.

You need to be working in the job and provide three pay stubbs with the application.

If you want to apply for the SOWP, you will need to wait until you are actually working and can provide the required pay stubs. The LMIA is not enough and will result in a refusal.

Or she can apply for a TRV now.

But one thing he can do is apply for BOWP when he gets an AOR and then the spouse can apply for SOWP..?? isn't so?

That might be an option later. But it's not possible now.

He hasn't applied for PR yet. See his first post. He is in the pool waiting for ITA and who knows when draws will restart.

just wait for some time, you will get an ITA. Then apply for SOWP and TRV both.

I’m working on noc A category. It was typo in the previous reply. I also applied her TRV but got no response from two months.

If you are working in the NOC A role now, then you can apply for the SOWP now. Include three pay slips.

But I still need to wait for Work permit approval?
Do you not have a valid work permit now? Are you on implied status?

Yes, I’m on implied status. Expecting work visa in February.
You have to wait for the work permit to be approved. One of the requirements for the SOWP is that your work permit must be valid for at least six months.

TRV is the only option right now.
