quick questions about the new FSW..?? Help!

Hi everyone, nervous times, as I have been waiting 2 years to become eligible for Canada immigration again.
So just a couple of quick questions I have for anyone who knows:

1) re: The Education points, it states that it is 23 POINTS for a masters or professional degree, and 21 POINTS for a "Three-year or longer post-secondary credential":

....So is my 3-year Bachelor degree (Bachelor of media - from Australia) considered a "professional degree" ( and is it worth the same points as a masters?), or is it not a "professional degree" , but a regular 3-year post-secondary credential? What is the correct definition?


2) Which is the fastest and most accurate ECA to verify my degree? WES is known to be very good and accurate, but takes 10 business days + shipping. And its expensive.
Can anyone recommend something equally as reliable with a faster turnaround?

3) Re: The adaptability points for skilled work in Canada - it says "at least 1 year full time". Can that also be 2-years part-time quivalent to get the 10 "Adapatability" points? (In the same way that the Work experience can be 2-years part-time equivalent?) And if it can be 2-years part-time equivalent, then what would the minimum average weekly hours be over the 2 years to be equivalent to 1 year full time?

4) Re: the work experience ( outside Canada) - it says there is 9 points for 1 year full time experience, and then 11 points for 2-3 years experience? But what about 1-2 years experience? Would that get 10 points? Or is there no accounting for 1-2 years with an extra point than just 1 year only??

5)Re - the application forms.. When will the new criteria application forms be available on the CIC website? May 1st?

6) Re: the photos requirements on the old forms: Do I really need to submit 6 photos of all my family members if I am immigrating by myself? I mean that seems kind of insane! I don't have a wife or children, just parents and siblings and cousins,etc. Why would I need to submit photos of them if I am immigrating alone?
B) if the answer is yes, then, DO these have to be passport photos, or can they be any?


If anyone has definitive answers for these I'd be really grateful

It is still a Bachelors................ 21 points

The new forms were posted on the site the same day the programme opened in May last year, so maybe they will do it the same way, or maybe not

The pictures are only of you if you don't have a wife or child/children.

1-2 years of work experience is 9 points (not 10).

Also, is there any way to find out whether the 1 -year of skilled work in Canada for adaptability points can be in the form of 2-years part-time (full time equivalent)?
- Because I worked in Canada for 20 months doing approx 15-20 hours per week in a part-time, yet NOC level A job...

And , if my foreign skilled work experience can also be in the form of part-time equivalent (ie. 2 years part time)?
Again - I have had a few years of part-time, yet still skilled work....

btw, what are the hours per week to be considered full-time and what is the part-time equivalent for hours over 2 years?

So you don't know if we can generally always substitute part-time experience that is equivalent to 1-year full-time as "full-time" ?
