Quick Question in regards to immigration

I apologize if this is a basic question for some of you but I just need clarification.

Me and my wife are planning on applying for a TRV and It has been 7 months since we applied for PR. Im Canadian and she is Indian and currently in India.
My question is that:
what if she is in Canada and they request an interview, will she have to go back to India to do the interview or can there be another option? Also,
her medical expires in around 2 months and once it expires and they request another medical, will she have to go back to India for that as well or
can we do that in Canada?

the remedical can be done in canada, if it is requested while she is here. cic has the ability to extend medicals, so a remed may not be requested.
