quick question for photo expire date.

I took the six photos in Jan.this year,I am gong to submit the application this month,it will be okay for my photo?

Photos are okay as long as they have been taken within the last six months.

It says you need 6 photos of each family member, is this the case if they are NOT coming to Canada?
