Hi all,

Newbie here. This Q is probably answered somewhere already but couldn't find them...

If I apply for PR under CEC, would my application be processed slower if I include my common law partner on the application? If so, by how much would it be slower?

Thank you so much in advance for your kind helps!

Usually would not have much impact, unless there's something in your partner's background that causes concern.
Regardless, if you have a CLP, you need to list them on your application. (To exclude them would be misrepresentation).

Not to mention, it will be a lot easier for your CLP to get PR status at the same time you do...

Thanks a lot for the clarification Jes!
