Quick advice about visa running out

So my tourist visa expires on April 10th and im currently waiting to be pulled out of pool to apply for my work visa which is approx 8 weeks same time as my tourist visa expiry date... How long does the pool selection take (Australian and applied on the 4th)

It says i need to leave the country on the 10th but i really need wait till the 17th to sort out some affairs/ thats the soonest i can have a flight booked pretty much.

What will happen if i leave 1 week after my visa expires ? will it affect my work visa ? Do they even know if i leave 1 week late ?

If you overstay on your visa and don't leave before the expiration date, it will affect any future work permit or visa application as the immigration will use the fact that you overstayed against you.

They will definitely know that you overstayed as they keep track of every entries and exit dates.

I suggest that you apply for a new visit visa. Have you applied for your work permit?

Dam as i know i cant really leave on the expiration date but 100% 7 days later... Fingers crossed my work visa is approved. I just got accepted from the ppol so im applying for the visa right now.

Well the problem is if i apply for another visit visa what will they say when i apply for my work visa that will say im outside of the country?
