Queue waiting time Interview Buffalo

Anyone awaiting to be interviewed in Buffalo, or has experienced it? how long it took from the date of the letter stating an interview is required to the time when an actual date was given? my wife is sponsoring me, we received a letter on 8/12 that an interview is required, so today it's 10/27 and still no word, I'm currently in Canada just awaiting the date of the interview.

I will appreciate anyone's comments, have a good day all.
