Hi Guys- Some questions if you could be so kind to assist with. My common law Canadian Girfriend is sponsoring me and I need help with the following questions-

1) Schedule 1- It says me and each member 18 or older must complete THREE copies of their own Schedule 1. ** It's just me, I don't understand- would I need to print three copies of Schedule 1.

2) On the Permant Residence Application- second page it's asking for photos and information for details of family members. Are they asking for my parents and sisters information. I have no family of my own.

3) Being I have no family, I do not have to sent my bith certificate. Correct?

Thanks.,

1) Yes, you need to provide three copies of Schedule 1.

2) When all else fails - read the instructions. IMM0008 wants your spouse/common-law partner (not applicable for spousal sponsorships) and "all of your dependent children who are not already Canadian citizens or permanent residents" - that does not include your parents or sister(s). Your parents and siblings will be listed on Form 5406 - Additional Family Info.

3) Not having any family has nothing to do with whether or not you submit a birth certificate. Your birth certificate is to verify your country of birth.

I'm confused... where does it say you need 3 copies??? On the schedule 1 form it says:

The principal applicant, his or her spouse or common-law partner, if applicable, and all dependent children aged 18 years or older listed in the application for permanent residence must complete their own copy of this form.

I've had a look through the guide and can't see it there either... am i missing something? I thought i only had to do the one, do i need to do three? if anyone can help that'd be great, thanks
Lisa :)

lol. You had me worried for a moment there as well xD

For clarification: these instructions are part of the country specific instructions. That means it's not the same for everybody.
For my region for example (it covers most of Europe), it says for every member to complete ONE copy of Schedule 1.

So to make sure, check your country specific instructions.
