I am applying for fall-2017 for Masters Degree and expecting admission by Feb/March-2017
I have few questions regarding VISA (study Permit)
1. If I apply for Study Permit Visa in the month of Apr/May-2017 hoping for best
and if they approve study permit Visa, When does the Study Permit Visa date will generally start...? Does it start 2 weeks or 1 month before the Program start ?
Obviously i wouldn't expect study permit visa will start immediately by June/July as it is too early...and again have to extend the visa before program ends
2. Generally how many years by default Student Visa is given initially - 2 years or...any time line defined specifically ?
or does it depend on case to case depending on students Masters program/location etc.
