QUESTIONS REGARDING PASSPORT REQUEST

I have applied for my husbands sponsorship, he is in pakistan. We wanted to know, is the passport request sent by mail or by email? And is it sent to the applicant or the sponsor. Also, where do they return the original documents? To pakistan or to canada? I had sent them from canada.

Is the interview waived?

The passp request will probably be sent to HIM by email and/or by mail.
i think the docs will be returned to him as well. After the first stage CIC sends the docs to the visa office at the applicant's country.
