Questions regarding FSW visa

Hello,

I'm trying to immigrate to either Canada or Australia.
Since my function, Systems Analyst, is on the FSW list, it would be very nice to get a Canadian visa.
However, I'm still working on my Australian visa. Is that a problem?

And I do have some other questions, which I hope you can answer:
  • In the document checklist it is stated that I should submit my original IELTS test result form. But if something happens with my original copy, there isn't any way I can get a new original copy. Can't I submit a photocopy? The CIC can check if my results are valid by contacting the IELTS organisation.
  • If I do have to send my original IELTS test result form, will it be returned to me when my visa application is processed?
  • Do I have to send the application for the Federal Skilled Worker visa to Vienna or to Canada?
  • I noted that the processing time for this visa in Vienna is 15 months. That means I have to wait for 15 months until I get to hear the outcome of my application and, if successful, the actual visa?
  • What happens if, during the 15 months my visa application is being processed, the cap for the visa or my specific function (Systems Analyst) is reached?

And is there anything else I should know before applying?

And another question: is it necessary to get the CES results shipped to my home? Or is a digital copy enough?

[u can't submit photocopy]
  • If I do have to send my original IELTS test result form, will it be returned to me when my visa application is processed?
[no, it will not be returned]
  • Do I have to send the application for the Federal Skilled Worker visa to Vienna or to Canada?
[CIO, NS, Canada]
  • I noted that the processing time for this visa in Vienna is 15 months. That means I have to wait for 15 months until I get to hear the outcome of my application and, if successful, the actual visa?
[yes, al-most, hopefully u'll get it by 15 months minimum, maximum no one knows!!]
  • What happens if, during the 15 months my visa application is being processed, the cap for the visa or my specific function (Systems Analyst) is reached?
[15 month is for Visa Office activity, the cap is for initial CIO receiving stage which usually fill up very quick, could be with-in 60 days!!]
[/list]

And is there anything else I should know before applying? [u should read http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp ]

And another question: is it necessary to get the CES results shipped to my home? Or is a digital copy enough?

Hello mute_man,

I tried sending you a private message, but that didn't seem to work.
Anyway thank you very much for answering the questions I had so quickly.

However, I have 2 additional questions I hope you can answer:
1) I need to have a CES report I read to get my qualification recognized. Is it necessary that I get the CES report sent to my home or is a digital copy of the CES report fine?
2) For my proof of funds, it is stated that I need to show proof of my funds to the visa office in my home country. Since the funds I have are on my bank account, is the most recent bank statement enough or do I need other documents? And should I send a copy of my most recent bank statement to the CIC in Canada? Or do I really have to go to Vienna or Dusseldorf to actually proof that I posses those funds?

Thank you very much in advance,

Nick

1.Your ECA report must have been issued by the organization on or after the date on which they were designated by CIC and must meet CIC format and content requirements. In addition, your ECA report must not be more than five years old on the date that we receive your application at the CIO. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eg72b
2. just send a copy of your most recent bank statement with complete application kit to the CIC in Canada
