Hi, I am in the process of creating an EE profile as my CEC application seems to be cut off because they stopped charging for almost 2 weeks. My questions probably were answered somewhere in the forum, but still would like some direct answers.

1. I am holding a PGWP and working full time for 2 years. Under the section of intended to work, the first question, which says "Do you have a job offer?" I saw ppl say this is LMIA-backed job offer. Situations like mine should answer "No". However, some ppl in the same situation answered Yes. If so, should I put currect NOC code under the question for "NOC code on your work permit?" I am really confused about this.

2. If I submitted my profile and I was not selected for the first draw. Can I update my file and resubmit to re-enter the pool?

3. When the score will show? After submission or after you complete all the file?

Thanks and I wish everyone good luck in the PR process!

Ray

1. Not sure, but I remember one person confirmed it with CIC that we can put the NOC code of the declared experience in that section (I did the same)
2. Yes, you can update and transmit it again
3. For me instantly.

BTW when did you apply for CEC? I don't think CEC already met the cap by looking at the recent trends:

Following on from what AAA2133 said, I was the one that confirmed with CIC what action to take and yes, I was advised to put in the NOC of my current job role.

It seems they overlooked the possibility that someone could have a job offer whilst on an Open Work Permit.

Thank you AAA2133. My CEC package was received on Oct 21st at CIO. Based on the Oct 2014 spreadsheet, CO (cash out) is stopped after they charged Oct 20 applicants two weeks ago. I am not sure if the cap is reached or not since there is no such information confirming or denying officially from CIC. However, seeing AOR is raining everyday as well as ME, PPR from earlier appllicant, it does make me concern about whether my file will be processed or not.

Back to the EE file, what did you put for company, address, vice versa under Intended to work section?

Thank you doubkeym. So I am safe to answer yes for having a job offer even though my work is not LMIA based? I assume it's OK because even we answered yes, it will not grant me 600 points.

Yes, you are asked if you have a job offer, so you say yes, then you are asked if the job offer is supported by LMIA and you say no.

It's perfectly possible to have a job offer with no LMIA, it's just that you wont receive the extra 600 points.

Where's your site then? Put that address. At the end of the day, you must provide an employer letter contact info written on it.

Again I think you'll be certainly within the cap there's no way that they issue 3000 AOR's within one month. I remember the last quota back in late November was about 5k.

If you have a job offer, you should answer yes. There's another place where the form asks if you have an LMIA. The system will figure out for itself if you meet the definition of having "arranged employment."

Yes
