Questions regarding education records

Accodring to CIC website, "The education records must cover each calendar year, if applicable." What does this mean?

Let's say if a person attends a programe from Nov 1, 2012 to April, 2014, how many copies of proof does he have to prepare?

does he have to prepare 3 copies (1 copy from Nov 1, 2012 to Dec 31, 2012, 1 copy from Jan 1, 2013 to Dec 31, 2013 and 1 copy from Jan 1, 2014 to April 30, 2014)

Or just a copy covering Nov 1m 2012 to April 30, 2014?

Another question, progress report and report card they are same things or different things? the one i can get from the instituition is progress report. Will CIC accept progress report or not? Thanks

Just provide the recent official transcript from the college/uni. Don't worry about the calendar year thing.

And explain in the cover letter of your application that your program was a 3 month program and you have official transcript of the program enclosed in the application package. Note that - transcript is different from a completion certificate. You need that too if applicable.
