Hello everyone,
I am in a little of a binge here. We got an Education Credential Assesment (ECAS) by the WES that it took forever to be completed. Now we have two troubles with it:
1) The hard copy of the ECAS has not arrived yet. We selected standard delivery thinking that the delivery to the UK wouldn't take long. We were mistaken, the hard copy has taken forever to arrive, and there is no way to track where the hell it is. We can consult the results of the evaluations online, but there is no way we can download it, and it says "Non-Official" all over the place. Is there a way to download the PDF file of this report from the WES? If not, what can we submit in case the hard copy doesn't arrive?
2) The summary of the ECA report says that the degrees we have are equivalent to a Canadian Bachelor's degree (4 years) and a postgraduate diploma (one year). However, the postgraduate diploma is a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (or PGCE) obtained in the UK. As such this is a degree needed, at least in the UK, to enter into a licensed profession (teaching). Since the ECA report does not mention any of this, how are we supposed to input this educational level in the system? Are we supposed to put it only as a Postgraduate diploma or as a professional degree needed in a licensed profession (which has the same points as a Master's degree)?
Thanks a lot and sorry for the long thread!
