Questions regarding ECA ..

Hi guys .. I had some questions regarding the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) requirement ...

1) Do I have to submit the ECA report with my Express Entry profile, or can I start working on this requirement after I've submitting my Express Profile ?

2) How far back do I need to go when trying to decide which academic credentials to get assessed ? Only Bachelors/Masters degrees or all O/A Level ? What about education prior to O/A Level ?

3) Which ECA service should I use ? WES seems to be quite common. Any particular reason for this ? I'm from Pakistan myself.

4) How long does the whole process generally take, from the time you send the documents till the time you get the ECA report ?

If you're the principal applicant, you'll not be eligible for Express Entry draws even of you create EE profile if you don't have eca

Bachelor / Masters evaluation will do, as only these both in combination will give you max points.

WES requires too much documentation, your matric and Intermediate credentials attested as well, even if your want evaluation for Bachelor and Masters. But they take less time, the latest committed time you can confirm from their website. Last time I read it was 20 days.

CES and ICAS requires minimum documentation but have greater process timings. ICAS has 20 weeks on their website and CES has 10 weeks.
