Hi, here I am again lol. Just thought I'd ask all the questions plaguing me in one go (pls. note that I got the ITA):

1. For the Address History section in Contact Details, I have repeated my permanent address in India twice at different times. This should be ok right?
I've also put in a hotel address for 2 weeks time (without room no. coz I don't remember - is this ok?)

2. I am confused by the Travel History section for this reason: I am an Indian (origin country) who was in India for 6 years out of the last ten. I was in the US (for studying and working - was on F1 visa throughout) the remaining 4 years.

The application says: "Provide details of any trips you have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc. "

As India is my country of origin, should I consider my 4-year US stay to be one giant trip?? (coz it sure didn't feel like a 'trip' or 'visit').

And when I was in the US, I visited India once or twice - but these wouldn't be considered right?

3. For the personal activities section (in Personal History), I am entering two part-time jobs I had during my Masters - so these two records will overlap (time-wise) with the Masters degree. Now are these two part-time jobs will have an "Activity Type" (drop-down field) of "Employment" and not "educational activity" right?

4. I'm not touching Work History section post IT-A, as this contains the skilled work experience that I claimed points for pre-ITA. Is this right?

Thanks in advance!

These hotel stays, were you moving from one place to the other? If yes, then yes, put them down.

You need a police certificate from USA

And when I was in the US, I visited India once or twice - but these wouldn't be considered right?

Every in and out registered in your passport should be stated here, they ask passport pages for corroboration.

They can overlap and yes, employement.

You can modify it as long as it doesn't affect your CRS Score, you will need to prove the experience you are claiming points for.

1. Yes, the hotel stay was for when I was making a move back to India.
It is ok if an address is repeated on the address history list right? (my permanent address in India)

2. Yes, I got a police certificate from the US.
Ok so here's what I'm confused about: If you are saying you are taking a trip or visiting someplace - that means you need to have a home base from which you are travelling. For me it is India for 6 years.
But for 4 years, my home base was the US (or was it, considering I didn't have a resident visa there?). If we do consider that the US was my home base for those 4 years, then there is no way to express this in the Travel History section. I would suddenly be putting "India" as the country I travelled to (when it is supposedly my country of origin).
So something is not sitting right with me here? (hope I made sense here)

3. Ok got it.

4. Agreed.

Pinging this up; would like to hear some answers - I think the Travel History section kind of makes sense when viewed alongside the Address History section..

Yes, questions 3 and 4 are clear in my mind. I'm still unsure about 1 and 2.
he answered you earlier!
for the second question it's country of origin OR residence. origin is india, residence is US no need to mention in between travel

Sorry, still not clear at all, you've confused me further. I'm not sure why your tone is so snippy. I'm trying to get to the bottom of a question so that it's clear in my mind, and this is a forum where dialogue is good - so that people reading in the same condition can benefit.

snippy? i'm answering you!
it says The application says: "Provide details of any trips you have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc. "
so you have to mention anything OUTSIDE your country of origin or residence. since origin is india and residence is usa, you dont have to mention traveling between them!

Do you realize that what you are saying is in direct contradiction to the answer given earlier (of which you've reminded me twice)?
