Hello

I shall be submitting my OUTLAND common-law permanent residency application at the end of September. I am currently living with my Canadian partner in Canada at his mothers house, we shall be moving into our own place in the next 2 months as he has secured full time employment.
I am here currently on a visitors visa which expires in November 5th. I have a couple of questions regarding visas & staying in the country:

1) Should I ask for a visa extension when I submit my application in my package - if so how do I pay the appropriate fees for the extension AND will I receive my extension request back in time?
2) Would it be better to request a visa extension separately via the website IF SO should I include that I have submitting an application for permanent residency?
3) In addition to the visa extension I am also planning to apply for a Working Holiday Visa through the International Experience Canada;
a) Should I include in my PR APPLICATION that I am requesting this working visa or will that look bad on my application that I am also applying for another application. ALSO vice versa - should I include in my working holiday app that I am applying for PR?
b) I am applying for my working holiday app whilst inside Canada and if it's granted I will either 'flagpole' or fly out somewhere and come back in with my working holiday visa - Is this OK?

Thanks for any help, will be appreciated!!

You apply for an extension of your visitor status separately from your outland PR application. There's no relation between one and the other.

As long as your extension application is received before November 5, you'll be allowed to stay in the country while you wait for your extension to be processed, even if this lasts beyond November 5. You'll be said to have "implied status" during that time.

You can do it online or with a paper application.

You can write that you'd like to stay with your partner in Canada while your PR application is being processed. It may be easier of the PR application has already been submitted. Base the requested duration of your stay on the estimated processing time for your PR application.

I'm not really able to answer these questions, because I don't have any experience with working holiday visas. If you do mention one application in the other, you should probably only mention one that you've already submitted an application for.

I don't think mentioning the PR application will be particularly helpful when you apply for the working holiday visa, so I would mention it only if it's necessary in order to answer some question in the application form forthrightly.
