Questions on medical test during SP extension

Hi,
During SP extension, there comes a question if I have lived in designated country for more than 6 months in last year.

Now if I arrived in Canada in July 13th of 2021 and now applying in Feb 2022, what does this last year means.

Is it:
A. Year 2021 (Jan - Dec)?
Or
B. Feb'21 - Jan'22?

My response will be different based on A or B.
