Questions in Spousal Sponsorship Forms

Dear Members,

I want to sponsor my wife for her PR. While looking through the forms, I had queries in the following questions:

Form 1344:
1(a). Question 1 - If you are found ineligible to sponsor, indicate whether you want to: withdraw your sponsorship application or proceed with application
(What does it mean to continue the application even if i am ineligible)

Form 5540:
2(a). Question 12 - Are you living with someone? Give name and relationship to you.
(I am currently living in Canada with unrelated roommate. What should I fill here)

Form 0008:
3 (a). Application Details Question 1 - Program under which you are applying? (What is to filled here)
3 (b). Application Details Question 2 - Category under which you are applying? (What is to filled here)
3 (c). Language Detail Question 3 - Have you taken a test from a designated agency to assess your proficiency in English or French?
(Is it required for the Spouse to take IELTS for sponsorship?)

1) I chose withdraw. If you choose to continue, it just means that you'll end up waiting a lot longer just to be denied.

5540:
Write your roommate's name, and explain that they are your roommate. The question is pretty clear.

0008:
1: Family Class, Spouse or common-law as applicable.

IELTS is not required for spouse sponsorship, so I put no.
