Hi! I'm a South Korean and I'm getting ready for application for inland common law sponsorship. We've been together over 3 years and lived over 2 years.

My girlfriend is a Canadian and she is pregnant, and she already passed her due date. So, the baby could come anytime soon..haha

I have couple questions that:

1) How I would inform to CIC about our baby if he comes before sending the application? Just add his information on ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION (IMM5406) and send copy of his birth certificate?
Or just send the application with the expected due date but without adding his information for the application and send his birth certificate later (even after he came)?

2) For the letter to prove our relationship from friends or family, is there way to get notary public without them being there and get certified? Because I have the original letters from friends and her uncle and auntie with their signatures, but it would be challenging to schedule going to notary public with us and get certified.

3) For the things to prove our relationship such as pictures, text, joint bank account activity and so on, I have too many texts to print out, but we don't have other histories like skype, facebook chatting or calling because we never be apart from each other.
So, it would be enough to get pictures, rental agreements, joint bank account and the letters from friends and family? or I should add something more.

Thank you for taking your time to read the long questions :)

Hi

1. If the baby is born before you apply, include their info. If the baby is born after, send IRCC an update with a copy of the birth certificate.

2. The people who wrote the letters are the ones that need to go to the notary. You don't need to be there.

3. Don't bother with any texts/chats/phone records/etc. IRCC doesn't need to see those when you live together. Along with what you've listed, you should add mail in both and/or individual names covering at least a one year period. You can also include copies of IDs and other things you have showing matching addresses.

You might want to wait until December 15th. Noon Eastern time they are releasing a completely new application package that does away with inland/outland division. If you're reasonably close to submission, you could still submit. If not, I'd wait.

Thank you for the information! I will have to wait around that time anyway for my birth certificate and police certificate from Korea. I'm just wondering that new system I would be able to use the current inland kit and get it processed within 12 months like new system?

I found information that no matter which system they would process first-come first-serve, and I would be able to use the current system until January 31st, 2017. I don't wanna start over the new system because I'm about to submit the application.
