Hello everyone,

I just have a few questions about applying the TRV.

I am from Taiwan, and currently a post-graduate working permit holder in Vancouver, Canada.

I have sent my TRV application to Seattle on June 22. I used to automatic phone service, and know that my application has been received on June 23, using FedEx service.

I am just not sure that did I send it to the right place to apply? (From Vancouver and sent to Seattle)
If so, how long does it usually take to get approve?

Because I am going to Phoenix in July 13, but I haven't received my passport yet.

Another question is that, since I have working permit in Canada, and I am going to Phoenix from Vancouver and come back to Vancouver without going to any other place, do I need a TRV to get entry into Canada? Or just the working permit is fine?

Thank you all for reading all these and hopefully someone would be able to solve my questions.

1. Yes Seattle is the right place
2. As long as you are only going to the US, and your work permit is still valid, you will be readmitted to Canada.
3. Seattle 65% in 2 days.

Thanks for the reply.
Hopefully I get my passport back soon.

Is there a way to contact them saying that I just need my passport back without getting the TRV?
Because it's taking them so long to process...

hello pinay so it means ganun katagal mag apply for trv? saan ka nag apply? kami sa buffalo last january 13 sa march pa naman ang uwi sa pinas kaya lng bumili na kami ng ticket sa expedia online tnx

unexpectedly, yes. madaya nga eh, nakakainis. the cic site says it's 14 days processing so i sent my application to seattle. now im going nuts waiting. my flight will be in 2 weeks. i emailed and faxed them a letter and attached my itinerary and ticket hoping for them to get back to me asap but they haven't yet. now im thinking of using a representative to go to their office and do business with them on my behalf since i dont have a visa to enter the US.

hey ondang! apply in buffalo, it's faster. i applied on dec.12 and got my passport back today with visa stamped. it was a long wait. i know someone here in the forum; she applied jan 13 in buffalo and passport is on the way. she's expecting it tomorrow.

hello..
Just wanna know, when you applied for TRV, did you submit a proof of financial support? what kind of documents shall I submit and how much is the minimum amount should be deposited in the account?
thanks..

no proof of financial support needed. i did not submit as to my understanding, it is only for visitors. but if you are kinda doubtful, you can send your bank statements.
