Questions concerning judicial review settlement

I applied for a student permit the second time in July 2020 but I was refused on the basis of a 'lack of purpose of visit' and 'lack of family ties'. After speaking with an immigration consultant who thought it was an unreasonable decision, we filed for a judicial review for the application. We got a settlement on March 2 and I am curious as to how long after the receipt of the settlement do I have to wait for my application to be reopened. Also how long does it typically take to reconsider an application once settlement is reached?

Has anyone gone through this process? I'd like to learn from your experience.

My file was reopened after settlement with doj/ircc and it took two weeks after i signed notice of discontinuance. Honestly timing is tricky, it could go from best case 1-2 months to 6 months (mine) depending on the additional documents they'd need and how quick they process it. Mine is permanent residency application. Hope this helps somewhat. Best of luck

Can u plz share your profile timeline etc where did u applied n if any other documents they asked for
No bc our applications and cases are different. I wasn't applying for study permit. If you have specific questions private message me. But I'd advise to search different threads and people that detail what happens during or after judicial review and have similar situations as you
