Hi,
I got a COPR on 10th November 2017 and I plan to travel to Canada in the last week of December 2017.
My questions are as follows,
1. Should we inform the IRCC about our travel arrangements and set an appointment with the IRCC before travelling to Canada for the first time?
2. How should we inform that we have arrived to start the formalities of the initiating the PR card process?
3. Are we allowed to stay in Canada beyond the expiry date of COPR but before getting possession of the PR card? Do they issue an interim permit for the intervening period?
4. Is there a document checklist we need to follow to ensure we have all the necessary documents before we leave from home.
Thanks,
Pradeep.
