I am a Canadian citizen living with my husband outside of Canada. we plan to go to Canada in summer.
My husband will travel with a travel document which he will apply for shortly. his PR CARD has expired long back.
Can anyone give any information on what questions I will be asked by the immigration officer to prove that my husband lives with me? will he go through my passport? what should I carry as a proof?
I am sure we both will be referred to the higher authorities once we land..AS PER THE CANADIAN LAW, LIVING WITH A CANADIAN SPOUSE IS CONSIDERED TO BE LIVING IN CANADA. Based on that my husband should be able to get his PR residence status back.
We are both worried about what questions we both will be asked by the immigration officer.
will appreciate if someone can share his/her experience.
thanks
