Questions asked at the borders for first entry of spouse

Hello guys,

I have got single entry visitor visa for my wife. I am on study permit here. When she comes here in Canada, what will they ask her? Do they ask to show my study permit copy ? Do they ask to show again ties to home country ? And do they ask to show proof of funds?

Also can I apply for her spousal work permit after she comes here in same application for my study permit renewal ? My study permit expires in august. So I am thinking of applying for my study permit renewal and her work permit in same application. And again I will have to apply for my and her TRV after we get our extensions. Can I do this again in same application ?

It might not answer your question, but when I enter with my wife who is not PR yet (permanent resident) we always have all the documents on us. Proof of funds, wedding certificate, employment letter etc. They look and ask few question and let her pass.
