Welcome to Canada
They only want to see your passport and landing papers.When I landed they didn't ask any single question.When are you landing in Toronto.What is your occupational field.

At immigration :

1. Address in Canada
2. Proof of funds
3. Destination

At customs :
1. Deflation regarding goods to follow / accompanying
2. Show proof of funds
3. Carrying any foods / perishables
4. Pix of jewellery

No questions on why immigrating / job.....
