Hi

I have been a silent reader of this great forum for past one year and have finally decided to make my first post.
Please help me shape my plans for my application.
I have 8 years of experience in IT/Software industry. Four of this years I was in US. I am planning to apply on 4th May and if everything works out I will first go alone to Canada. Once I ensure I can support my wife and baby I will call them to Canada (I have enough fund to support them but just don't want them to go through initial challenges if I face them). Already cleared IELTS with and overall 8 Band (L:8.5, R:8.5, S:7, W:7)
Please advice me if you feel I need to take care of anything else in my plan.

I have following questions
1a) Proof-Of-Funds - At time of application / interview can we rely on bank statement. ( I have funds reserved in US and India banks)
1b) Proof-Of-Funds - At time of arrival (if it works out ::)) is it advisable to move the funds to a Canadian bank and/or travelers Check

2) Work Experience - My employer does not provide any letter of experience for Immigration purpose. What are my options here. I can produce all of my payslips from past 8 years if required

3) Can provident fund be considered a valid proof of fund?

4) How to approach Canadian employers while looking for a pre-employment offer? Can anyone guide how can one go about in securing a pre-employment offer.

5) My current employer already have good presence in Canada. Should I opt for an internal transfer or look out for new employer? Internal transfer is possible but will take time.

Thanks.
