Questions about spouse work permit

Hi guys,

I have a question about the spouse work permit. If one is holding a study permit and his spouse got an open work permit using his study permit. If this guy's study permit is not valid any more (Graduation or quit school). Is his spouse's open work permit still valid if it is not expired?
