HI!. I just have a few questions about it and just want to see the best option.
I'm an International Student and I took a year program in a College in Ontario, but it took me just 8 months, so I want to apply to the Post Graduated Study Permit but reading the conditions It means That it will be last just 8 months?, also they told that That Kind of permit won't guide me to Permanent Resident, so here comes my questions, This means I have to leave Canada after my pgwp ends? Can I apply to an other work permit after it ends?.
I just want you guys to guide me to the best option, If It is a good idea apply or just come back.

Thank you :)

What is important is the confirmation/graduation letter from the college that it states the course was 1 year regardless whether you completed in 8 months. When you submit such a letter within the 90 day completion window you should get a 12 month PGWP.

The challenge with a 12 month PGWP is that you would need to be very lucky to get a job immediately that gives you a full 12 months Canadian work experience towards a PR application which is why most people go for 2 year courses or 2x1 year back to back to qualify for a 3 year PGWP.

If you do not qualify at any point for PR on your current plan then you would need an employer to sponsor you with an LMIA which are very difficult to get otherwise at the end of your PGWP you would probably need to leave.
