Hi all,
I applied in Express Entry under CEC and just got Letter of Interest from Ontario. I am going to apply for OINP and starting preparing documents. I have some questions that need advises from you guys
1. The OINP application form need to be filled out by typing? What happens if my employer's name is long so that it cannot fit in the form by typing?
2. I first came in Canada in Sep 2011 as international student. In Dec 2013, I went back to my country for one month and came back in Jan 2014. I graduated in Jun 2014 and started working as full time employee in Jun 2014 until now. In Sep 2015, I went back home to visit my family and came back to Canada in Oct 2015. What should I fill in the question below:
Please list any visits you have made to Canada in the last ten years
Reason for Visit Province Length of Stay Year of visit
3. I have my birth certificate and my bachelor degree ( with ECA) that my parents did notarization and translation into English in my country. However, when I read the OINP guide, it said if you apply inside Ontario, the translations must be completed by a certified translator accredited by ATIO. So that means I cannot use the documents that already notarized and translations from back home and need to expense extra to get the translation done in Ontario ?
4. I currently working 2 jobs as the same time. I have one full time job that I already claimed point in EE, the other job is part-time job (NOC B) that I didn't claim points. So in the work and personal history, should I mention the second job and if yes, how can I enter it? Use the same time line with the first job?
5. I worked part-time when I was a student in Canada. So in work and personal history, for the time that I was a student, I should put study only or study and working or need to insert the separate line for working?
6. In Dec 2014, I had an overlapped period in my employment history. I work full-time from Jun 2014-Nov 2014 and part-time in Dec 1- 23, 2014 in one job. Also, in Dec 5-31, 2014, I worked part-time in second job and started full-time job with the second one in Jan 2015. So in the work and personal history, can I use the overlapped time frame in Dec 2014?
6. Can I submit the reference letter with paystubs and T4 for my employment without the employment contract (since I didn't have one)? And how many payslips that I need to submit (in each payslip will show the YTD amount), so should I just submit the lastest one?
7. In the Application checklist section, it asks for certified true copies of applicant's university degree ( that I obtained in Canada), what should I do to have its certified true copy?
8. Do I need to check any box for settlement Funds (Since I applied under CEC and currently working in Canada)?
9. Do I need to check box "Proof of any ties established in Ontario". Please submit a letter listing all of the ties that you have established in Ontario and provide supporting documents. In this case, do I need to provide the list of all the ties that I have (employment, lease agreement, memberships). And do I need to collect all the supporting documents for each.
I know this is a long list and I am struggling to complete the application. I would be very appreciated if you guys can answer them.
Thanks and have a wonderful Holiday!!!
