Hello,
i have a few questions about my actual profile and the program i would like to start in Canada.
I actually work in a restaurant as a cook and i also help around the kitchen. Now i would like to start a Culinary Management program at College Boreal in Sudbury, Ontario.
My education background is pretty poor, but i contacted the school and explained my situation and they said i meet all the requirements for the program and said i can apply whenever i wanted to.
My concerns are,
We have a really good Culinary School where im from (Switzerland) but i am faaaar from the entrance requirements (they ask for post secondary diplomas and i have none) Its also EXTREMELY expensive and hard to get in, they select the best candidates (like kids with phd's and masters degrees...)
Will the Visa Officer deny my application because we have excellent culinary school where im from? The school im interested in offers classes in french, which is my first language but in a english part of Canada and i am really interested in the bilingual aspect of this and i am afraid the VO would think its useless for me to study here in Canada since we have such good schools here.
If i apply, will i need to go to an interview at the embassy? Is it mandatory?
The college only requires the TFI test (french) but do i still need to pass the TOELF test?
Please release my stress by helping me or giving me advice
Thanks in advance
