Hi guys, I'm new here so please forgive me if I'm asking questions that have been asked before.
About me:
I'm on an open work permit that was issued as part of the "Alberta Pilot for Occupation Specific Work Permits" And I have since acquired my "Red Seal" as a Truck Mechanic here in Alberta. I have been given the 2 year extension to my permit which now expires in June 2016. I have applied for AINP and gotten a reply to say that I'm on the system, but I wont have my Provincial Nomination for up to 14 months according to processing times.
Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
I've set up an EE Profile which is only giving me 212 points at present. Should I ask my employer to apply for a LMIA so boost my points. Or should I wait until closer to my visa expiration (June 2016) before doing that.
