Hello guys!

I am having big problems completing IMM0008

So , short story : My girl friend is a PR in Canada , and she wants to get me there
I have a 3 years boy from a prevoius marrige.

Question 3 : how many familly members , including you , are in this application ?
My gf is my sponsor. i dont want to take my son with me ( is common custody with my ex wife )
so , how many family members? 2? 3?

Second

In the guide i found on CIC website , there are only 4 FORMS :
0008
5669
5406
5490

thats all , right ? because i saw a post about this and the guy was talking about some income form.
waiting your answer asap :)

You are the only applicant with no dependent baby so you will write '1'
for rest of the questions download full application package from CIC site and that will clearly tell you about your forms (Applicant), and your sponsor forms

GF completes the "sponsorship" application part and the financial evaluations and docs, etc.

The Principal Applicant completes the other forms such as IMM008, Schedule 1, IMM5669, etc etc and supplies all the documents.

Everything is on CIC website, all the forms, the guide etc. Go through it and u will be ok.

its not , its very confusing!
cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/3999ETOC.asp

it deosent say anything about how is principal aplicant etc etc

Based on your first comment, I presume you are living outside Canada and your sponsor(who is a PR) wants to sponsor you to Canada. If that's correct, these are the forms for outland sponsorship: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

Part 1: Sponsorship forms (to be filled by the sponsor i.e. your wife or common-law partner who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident). Please note, you must be married or common-law partners (common-law means you have lived with your girlfriend in a conjugal relationship for at least 1 year).

Part 2: Immigration forms (to be filled out by you - you are the one trying to immigrate to Canada, not your girlfriend who is already a PR). So when it says "principal applicant" that is you.

Part 3: Information guides (to be filled out by you, based on your country of nationality).

Please note: even if you don't want to take your son with you, you must mention him on form IMM 5406 (Additional Family Information).

This is wrong. Non-accompanying dependents must be included.

Even though your child isn't coming to Canada, he MUST be included in the app as a non-accompanying dependent. The answer to question 3 is "2", you and your son. He must also undergo a medical.

SenoritaBella posted the link you need to look at; it very clearly lists what forms are needed.

Thanks for the correction, I never knew it :O

Also if ur ex-wife doesn't want your son to go for medical, you should give a written explanation that ur ex-wife is not allowing ur son to go for medicals, but u should mention your child, just in case of future if he needs you badly... because if you don't mention it now, then in future if your son needs you, you wont be able to sponsor him.

I agree with canuck you have to mention and include your children as non-accompanying dependent in your application. if you do not include/mention him it can also be considered as sending false information (Misrepresentation).
