Hi All,

I received an ITA on 4th May and I'm working on getting my documents ready. I have so many questions to which I can't find a definitive answer:

1. Medical exam: I had my medical exam on 12th May and I was given an information sheet. Is that all I need to upload? How and where can I check whether medical exam report was submitted to CIC or not?
2. Police certificate: I applied for PCC last week. Since my passport address was different than my current address, I had to undergo another police verification at the respective police office. I did not hear back on whether my PCC was accepted or not. Should I get my passport reissued with the new address and re-apply for the PCC or just wait?
3. Proof of work experience - I've been working in the same company past 6 years since the start of my career. Can someone list out documents required for proof of work experience? I have all my salary slips and appointment letter. What are other important documents required? Should I ask my HR to give me an experience letter with company's letterhead? What things should I ask her to mention in that letter?
4. Proof of fund - My savings account does not suffice for the amount required to show as proof of fund. Can I also show my PF slips as a proof of fund? Can someone explain the procedure in detail and documents required for showing PF as proof of fund? We have an FD of 1 lakh but it's in my mother's name. Is there any way I can use it as a proof of fund?
5. Proof of relative in Canada - My brother lives in Canada and he is on PR. He sent me following scanned documents:
  • PR Card
  • Driver's license (issued in Canada)
  • His passport copy
  • Canada visa
  • Birth certificate (it's in Hindi)
  • 2016 income tax assessment report
Is there anything else needed or any special instructions?

Thanks in advance
