Great forum with lots of useful information, i have a few questions that i hope someone can help me with.
Background: Partner applied in Jan 2015 for express entry (points total 398). During this year his IELTS expired and he had to re take. Initially thought that as a UK citizen i would be able to move with him once accepted however have now realized that this is not the case and have decided to add me to the application to try and increase the points. If we wait till Jan to re apply he will gain additional points for work experience. So the plan is to apply again jointly in January in the best possible position to be selected , in preparation for this please help with the following:
1. I am English UK citizen born and raised- Do i still need to take the IELTS? He has taken and has highest marks in this area.
2. We have been together (not married) for 3 years, living together for 18 months however we do not have joint rental agreement/utility bills to prove this, we have pictures/tickets etc but it I know it is not classed as actual proof of relationship. would this be needed or would it be best to get married?
