Hi all,
I just finished my masters from US and I did my BS from my home country. I came in US in June 2006.
When I was doing BS I got full time job offer from ABC Company in my field. I worked two years along my BS degree.
I came US as a Student, here I got offer in March 2007 to work in my field I worked on CPT and currently I am working on OPT full time employee.
My total full time experience is more then three years but it’s along my studies.
Will it work for me?

Any work done part time is converted to full time hours - This is from CIC Operations Manual (an Adobe PDF file) on their website. For example, if you were working during school for 20 hours, it is probably converted to 10 hours of full time. However if you worked for 40 hours during CPT (i.e., without studying) those hours remain the same. Take the total of all such hours until now and see how many years of experience you have. That is roughly how CIC would calculate it.
On another note, as long as you have one year full time experience you are eligible to apply.
The maximum points are obtained for 4 or more years of experience (full time).
