Hello, does anyone know if a consumer proposal or credit counseling will negatively impact a spousal sponsorship application?

How long do you have to be off as discharged from bankruptcy ???

But I'm not bankrupt just got 4 months left in credit counseling which I think is different from bankruptcy and should not affect my sponsorship app.

My question is If one filed bankruptcy over 20 years ago can they be affected to sponosr ??

I read that once you're discharged you are fine.
