Experts, I have few questions:

1. For my work experience letter, FSW (outside Canada), the letter states monthly salary as to against yearly which is required by CIC. Should that be OK?

2. Post ITA, does the co-applicant need to show experience letters aswell (FSW outside Canada - even though no pints were claimed)?

Thanks

That will do.

Not required. Make sure you don't mark them as having work experience if none if it was in Canada.

Thanks

So do I edit my express entry profile and delete the entries I have made in there? I hope it does not mess up my application as I have sent documents to Ontario and awaiting AOR/Nomination.

Yes.

That experience is immaterial to your CRS score so it can be deleted without any material impact on your application.

I don't think OOPNP awards any points for spouse's foreign work experience either so it won't make any difference there.

Thanks.

So the work experience should go in the personal history of the co-applicant? Doesn't that contradict?

Not at all. CIC requires full disclosure on personal history but doesn't need the same on work history - only where you're claiming points for program eligibility and/or CRS.

Thanks. Guess I will go ahead a delete it so as to avoid knocking the doors of employers at later stages. :)

Does CIC ask for old passport? Is their any criteria i.e. if the new passport is less than 2 years or so??

Hi Asivad, someone had a similar query on adding work history for co-applicant. Could you shed some light on this:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t278418.0.html

"Query 3>> My wife has work history and is currently working. Again I know we cannot have the work experience letters from my wife's employer and again I am ok to loose points for Spouse work experience.
The confusion is -- what should I enter when the online application asks the following --

Does xxxx(my wife) have any work history?
If I say "yes"-- I know later when I get invitation to apply I will not have the work experience letter (and CIC would have invited me considering the spouse work experience)
If I say "No" -- I am not stating the truth? Will this not amount to mis representation of information
Need Immigration advise what to do ?"

Misrepresentation is willful distortion of facts or outright lying on your application in order to gain points and/or benefit unreasonably.

Keeping your spouse's work experience out of your application because it gets you no points at all is not misrepresentation. It is indeed suppression of facts and certainly partial disclosure of information but it isn't misrepresentation.

And when it comes to Personal history, CIC is keen on understanding the individual's travel history and associated criminality checks and background verification which is done via the PCCs for that time period.

Hope this clarifies.
