Question regarding work experience.

My friend has not worked in last 5 years due to maternity but have valid work experience from 2009 til 2013.

Would it harm her chances for express entry or AINP?

She is an assistant professor working in India.

Minimum eligibility for EE is 1 year of skilled work experience in the past 10 years, so her work experience would count. If she can get more than 460 CRS points, she can get invited to apply under EE.

The long break will not matter, as long as she can prove her prior experience and has enough points.
