Question regarding work experience date in EE application

Hi All,

I have 11 months and 15 days of work experience outside of Canada. I just submitted my application EE application and the system is counting this experience as 1 year. This is because there is no date to specify when entering this experience, only year and month(i.e December 2010 - November 2011). This is giving me the points for having 1 year of work experience.

Should I change this to make it count less than 1 year or keep it as it is?

Do it after you have one year of experience; or account for 11 months in the date options. Better to be on the safe side. CIC will ask you to prove one year of experience on the date you submitted the application in EE pool, because you were allotted points for one year of experience. So once you come out short in that, your profile will be rejected even after an ITA.
