Hello guys! I'm really glad to find you and this forum as well! I am introducing myself by kindly asking for your opinion on regarding my interest in immigrating to Canada.

I am a BSc(Hons) Engineering Geologist with 4,5 years of experience on research and consulting in engineering geology/geotechnical engineering mostly as an idependent consultant, and currently, I am also almost in the middle of my studies as a Mining & Metallurgical Engineer candidate majoring in Geo-engineering (Geotechnical Engineering) at the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, where I would be awarded a 5-year engineering diploma (WES unofficial evaluation sets my diploma to Canada equivalent of BSc and integrated Masters due to 5-year length).

I would therefore like to ask whether when I obtain my diploma, while at the same time go on with my research and my consultancy, I could apply for immigration to Canada and find a job there. Does anyone know if National Technical University of Athens, Greece, and the awarded 5-year diploma is recognized in canada? Having also a proficient certification in english (IELTS 7.5), along with my work experience in the field, will it be difficult for me to find a job there? Also, could I take the exam for obtaining the P.Eng license?

Thank you all in advance for taking the time to read my thread and I look forward to receiving your replies! :)
