I know it has to be a PCR test, does the rapid test count? I know I have to get it within three days of my flight, so I want to have a definite result within the three days.

Is it a rapid PCR test? If it isn't - and Canada has only approved one rapid PCR test - then it doesn't meet the requirement of PCR testing.

The government says as follows:
The test must be performed using one of two types of COVID-19 tests–either a molecular polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP)–and must be conducted within 72 hours of the traveller’s scheduled departure to Canada.
If your test is one of these two types, should work.

Should I be worried about getting my results in time? Those are estimated 2-3 days I believe.

Didn't read there is rapid PCR test from the other poster? Please read the article below if you have not done your googling!

Thank you for letting me know that there is a new test that has just been approved that is aRapid PCR test. This one isn’t in the market yet so rapid tests would not be PCR tests. The rapid tests being offered abroad aren‘t PCR tests and this test won’t be available abroad for quite some time. The device will also need to go through approval process in other countries. Currently if taking a rapid test abroad it isn’t a PCR test.

You should thank the other poster too. If it wasn't for him/her, I wouldn't had notice that there's a rapid PCR test.
