Question regarding Spouse Noc code

My wife is the primary applicant and I am the spouse that tags along with her. My Noc classification is C and the agent that is creating our profile says that even the spouse needs to show O,A or B work experience otherwise to show no work experience at all. I was under the impression that the Noc classification of the spouse does not matter for express entry.

If the spouse (accompanying / Non - Primary applicant) has no Canadian work experience, you do not get any points for that and it's not a requirement.
