Question regarding RPRF

I paid my RPRF recently after the Ottawa case pilot officer requested proof of payment as well as a copy of my passport. I sent a copy of the receipt to Mississauga as well as to the Ottawa office as requested. Any idea long I have to wait for some kind of response? Also is this the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak with immigration? Really chomping at the bit here to get back to work and this sitting around waiting is killing me.

it's difficult to know, but the general answer is yes - it should be fairly towards the end.
Are you a US citizen? If they have requested a scan of your passport, and ask to pay the RPRF, you should be pretty near the end.
My guestimate would be somewhere between 2 to 3 weeks. to get Decision made and receiving your COPR etc.
Unless you have a complicated case of course.
Good luck,
Sweden

Thanks, yes I am a US Citizen. Just glad for this hurdle to be close to over. The next step will be getting my Wife sorted out for US Immigration. :)
