So I am trying to apply my girlfriend for a visitor visa and it seems like I need to provide a proof of relationship. As a proof of relationship it says that one of the possible documents is statuary declaration of common-law union. So Would I have to fill out this form and get it stamped by notary? Or what other forms/documents can I bring to prove my relationship?
We have been in a relationship for 3 years which started in South Korea. She did have her house with her brother in Korea but most of the days she stayed in my house. Unfortunately there is no proof of this because the house was under my name (except for pictures that she was in my house)
The only thing we have together is joint bank account in Mongolia. I am not sure if we are considered ‘common-law’.
Would I need to fill out Statuary declaration of Common Law Union? It is just for visitor visa, and I am NOT SPONSERING her as she will bring her own travel expenses. She will stay at my parents’ house for 3 weeks.
Anyone can help me out what can I provide for proof of relationship, and if I need to fill out statuary of declaration of common-law union, and would she have to add me as common-law partner in the application? (Please bear in mind that we didn’t officially apply for common law status in Canada yet, because she hasn’t been to Canada).
