I have questions regarding the proof of employment history and having brother in Canada.

I have two documents needed to proof my employment with airline company, the documents includes reference letter(signed by my superior), letter of employment (signed by my superior). I worked for the company for one year in NYC under post graduation work permit which is valid for one year. After one year, i left the country and i did not file my taxes because i knew i am leaving the country in one year. Apart from that, i have lost all my pay slips, i didn't know they will be important for my future reference . I worked with an Airline Company which has closed down in august 2009. I have contacted the accountant and she said she was not able to give me the pay slips as the company has closed down and she does not have access to system because she has been laid off.She said she could write me a letter saying that i have work for the company. She is not a CPA accountant, she has her old name card under name of the airline company and other documents to proof she has worked for the company as an accountant.
Below are my inquires:

1) Will the letter from the accountant and from my superior (director) be enough to proof my employment? Besides all this documents, is there any other document that i can use as proof?

I really hope somebody can help me with my inquiry. I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

I beleieve that would be enough in this scenario. get all kinds of documents you can get from accountant and director plus write a cover letter as well explaining the situation...

Hello,

I was just wondering how this all went? What was the end result? My partner is in a similar position in terms of not having all of the tax papers for freelance work. Is it not worth applying because of this? Any help you have would be great.

Thanks,

Anna
