My spouse and I sent our citizenship applications together, in the same package. My spouse received a RQ and we responded promptly. It's been 7 months since the response was RQ response was received by CIC. Given the situation, here are some questions:
1. Will CIC process my application separately or will they process along with my spouse's application? The reason for asking is that CIC says they'll process applications together when they receive in the same package
2. CIC's standard response is that it takes ~3 years to process RQ related applications. Is that the experience for most people who receive RQ?
To provide some background, the applications were sent in October 2014. The processing began on November 20th. RQ was sent in March and the response to CIC was sent in March as well. The applications are in Scarborough office.
